DESTINEE ENTERTAINMENT AGENCY IS COORDINATING

  • CARIBBEAN COMPETITION.
  • BARBADOS WILL BE STAGING THE FINALS OF THE UNDER JUNIOR COMPETITION (12 AND 17) ON MARCH 30, 2025 AT 6.00PM AT THE BANK HALL NAZARENE COMPETITION
  • AND THE FINALS OF THE SENIOR COMPETITION ON APRIL 12, AT THE LLOYD ERSKINE SANDIFORD CENTRE AT 6.30PM

BANK HALL: $15.00 IN ADVANCE. $20.00 AT THE DOOR

THE JUNIORS WILL BE HAVING A COMPETITION OF THEIR OWN. THE WILL SING AS A SPECIAL GUEST AT THE FINALS OF THE CARIBBEAN SINGING COMPETITION AND WILL BE CALLED UPON TO SING IN OTHER PLACES.

The winner of the Seniors will represent Barbados at the finals of the Caribbean Singing competition on May 2, Kensington oval while the Runners up will be given free entry to the Bobby Jones New Artiste Show scheduled for May 3rd, 2025 at 10.00 am.

REGISTER TODAY: THERE IS A CUT OFF AT THE FIRST 20 TO REGISTER IN EACH CATEGORY WHERE THE TOP 8 WILL going through to the finals. The best of these will be pitched to do a recording later in the year.

The Finals of the Senior competition will take place at the LESC at 6.30m April 12, 2025. The top 8 may be asked to represent Barbados in the Bobby Jones Hour- a program which shows on Impact TV Network on Sundays.

All persons entering these competitions are asked to note that once you have entered these competitions, you will be expected to continue singing as many opportunities will be presented to you to improve your singing and turned this into a life long ministry which can take you all over the world.

THE CARIBBEAN SINGING COMPETITION

All English speaking members of Caricom are invited to enter this competition as a sign of unity. Each country is expected to devise their own scheme to select their winners to represent them. Each country is encouraged to send other people to register for the Bobby Jones New Talent Show. Registration should be completed by April 28,2025.

The Caribbean Singing Competition is expected to bring life to the Caribbean in a show of unity.

The top 8 finalists will be invited to participate in a special recording to take place later this year while the winner will be required to sing at various international events.

  • Barbados is responsible for accommodation, meals and transportation
  • THE COORDINATOR OF EACH COUNTRY IS EXPECTED TO REGISTER IMMEDIATELY
  • The deadline for registration is April 5, 2025.
  • All countries must connect with their respective Ministries of Cultures to inform them of their status and who will be attending the competition.
  • All coordinators are kindly ask each program director of all Christian stations and leading secular stations to contact our desk at 246232 4595 as soon as possible. We are hoping to have things in place to ensure that each station carries the show live and to contact the necessary sponsors especially with Barbadian subsidiaries to sponsor the live broadcast. We however need to contact them early so as to get full cooperation from all islands.

CARIBBEAN MEDIA CONFERENCE

Each Christian Media entity should send a representative to this conference. Are Caribbean Gospel stations playing enough music from their country and indeed from the region? And if not why not? How can we make our music to the region therefore more relevant?

All countries should make an effort to attend by registering on line.
